As an early chrome-bumper model, this Corvette is one of the most distinctive versions of the C3 series.
The chrome front and rear bumpers, together with the concealed headlights and the distinctive “Coke bottle” silhouette, define the original appearance of the third-generation Corvette, introduced in 1968.
The early C3s, in particular, thus differ significantly from the later models with their plastic/urethane bumpers, which were required by law.

Of particular note is the an exceptionally extensive restoration, documented by numerous invoices.
Between 2013 and 2018 The vehicle was refurbished at considerable financial and labor cost.
