- 1982 ordered through a VW dealer in British Columbia (order available)
- The buyer was the owner of the Morrow Crane Company
- He moved to the USA in 1983 and wanted to take the Porsche with him
- Due to environmental regulations, the import was almost impossible, but was actually made possible for a large sum of money
- Vehicle was converted to US specification in the course of this
- Imported from the USA to Germany in 2016 and in a collection since then
- 2016/2017 Retrofit to German specification and extensive maintenance
