• The Porsche was rediscovered in 1988 and passed into third hands in 1990 for USD 40,000; the original purchase contract is available
• The owner was a mechanic himself and specialized in Porsche
• When he bought the Porsche, it was partially dismantled, as was the engine
• He reassembled it, but did not restore any of the bodywork, which is why it remained largely in its original condition

• In 2011, the car was sold to a well-known car dealer in Germany
• He kept it in his collection until 2013 and then sold it to the current owner
