The Special Editions of the GranTurismo and GranCabrio celebrate the 60th anniversary of this important step in Maserati’s history and are a memorial to one of Maserati’s iconic cars, while embodying the entire heritage of this glorious brand. The Special Edition is based on the GranTurismo and GranCabrio Sport versions and only 400 examples will be produced. Among the main unique features of these new and exclusive versions is the “New Rosso Italiano” three-coat paint for the exterior, which reinterprets the red of Fangio’s 250F – F1 champion in 1957 – and emphasizes the link with Maserati’s heritage. Not to mention the wheels: 20-inch alloy wheels by MC-Design with a new finish in high-gloss black that matches the hubcaps with the Special Edition logo. The interior has also been redesigned: The new interior design revolves around Poltrona Frau leather or leather/Alcantara upholstery and new interior stitching, available in 4 different combinations. Other striking interior details include the carbon fiber door sills with the Special Edition logo and the special plate on the center tunnel with a carbon fiber holder, which commemorates the anniversary and the limited edition of 400 units.
